How we work

We work with clients in a variety of ways, depending on the needs of the business. Simply choose the option that’s best for you, or telephone us for some advice.

Retainer

Our most popular and cost effective option.

Provides both telephone and/or email support, giving you the chance to talk through issues before they become major problems.

We edit or draft employment correspondence for you from scratch, tailoring it to the needs of your business. We support you through every stage of difficult employee issues, so that you are not floundering and feel confident about your actions.

Our retained clients are also provided with a comprehensive Starter Pack and benefit from many additional extras throughout the year, such as regular bulletins and monthly employment law and health & safety newsletters.

Our prices are competitive and we can either provide unlimited support or, for smaller businesses that need to tightly contain their costs, a defined amount of support each month.

All we ask is that you sign up for one year.

We also provided Retained clients with an online HR Software system, to assist them with things such as employee timekeeping and attendance, absence management, holiday requests, document/template storing, compliance and much more. We provide this at a very small extra monthly cost – depending on the size of the business.

Ad-hoc

Exactly as it says.

We respond quickly and effectively, as and when required, to all your unexpected or pressing HR problems, from employee performance issues to long term sickness absence and disciplinaries…in fact, any kind of HR situation you can think of.

You pay as you go, with no minimum sign up period.

Hands-on support

Whether you decide to Retain us or use us on an Ad-hoc basis, we can sit beside you during any difficult employee-related meeting, making sure that you say the right things and don’t trip yourself up! If you are lack confidence in what you need to do, we will even chair the meeting for you.

Strategic support

Particularly relevant for those who like to be well prepared. We help you plan and implement your HR strategy for the year ahead e.g. if you’re down-sizing or buying another business (provided under both an Ad-hoc and Retainer arrangement.)
